What is a Good Lean Self Tool?

Carpenter Tools. This image is CC0!

With A6es you have seen one tool for self-improvement already. I discussed this tool first, because it focuses on actions towards improvement. However, this is not the only tool available.

For me that means, a Lean Self tool must be:

  • Easy to understand
  • Easy to use
  • Easy to integrate into one’s life (and lifestyle)
  • Easy to adapt to your own purposes
  • Visual

I am generous in my use of the word “tool.” Although strictly speaking a method is not a tool, you will find some methods under the Lean Tools category. Wherever possible, I provide a way to convert a method to a tool.
