Exercise 27: Do an “Unused Inventory Removal Session.” Do it Now.

If you did the last exercise, there should be a lot of items and places marked with red tags. Take a time-out of twenty minutes from whatever you are doing right now.

If throwing away the items is not possible right now, define one single red tag storage room or place where you put all the tagged items. When you create a red tag storage, do not forget to empty it regularly, it is a buffer, not a permanent storage place.

In order to make unused inventory removal a regular and planned event, have a look at the tips in my post about chaotic islands.

How do you feel after this session?
